I have a passion for the four elements of Language Arts, especially "reading and writing", that I wish to pass along to my all of my students.  I have written poetry since grade school and I am usually trying to read 3 or 4 books all at the same time - some for pleasure and some for information. I collect bears and have a terrible sweet tooth. I love to watch movies, listen to a variety of music and travel when I am able.  This past summer I went to Yellowstone National Park.  What a beautiful place!

I have two lovely daughters and three fantastic granddaughters, ranging in age from 7yrs-14yrs. How they do make me smile! I also have two very busy grandsons, ages 4 and almost 5. I am one very lucky "Nana"! 

I have one 17 year old cat named, Nina.  She loves to snuggle and get her black hair all over papers I'm trying to grade.  She's a special part of my life.
